Grand Knight's Message
Brothers and
Ladies,
As we enter the new
fraternal year, I want to thank everyone for the support they have offered me as
I transition into my new role within our council. I am looking forward to this
coming year, and hope it will be a successful one for our council.
Our first meeting of
the year was a great success. It was nice to see so many of our brothers in
attendance. My hope is that our meetings will continue to grow over the coming
months.
One of the areas we
discussed during our meeting was the financial status of our council. Although
this has been a rough year, we are still in a position to be generous and do
many great things in our community. One of the ways this can happen is by our
Knights being more visible in the Parish. My hope is that more people will see
us and know they can come to us with requests for assistance. There are many
needs in our community and many needs that may hold special places in our
parishioner's hearts. However, they may not know of our council or know that
they can request assistance from us. Hopefully, that will change and our council
will have a larger presence in the Church.
This past year has
changed nearly every aspect of our lives. Most of us have anxiously been waiting
for it to end and get back to a relatively normal life with friends and family.
I hope that our council 8741 brothers and their families are doing great and
have become reenergized to get back to our charitable works.
